“ Great British pub atmosphere. Wide variety menu. We had shepherds pie and corned beef and cabbage. Generous servings which were excellent. Shout out to Joelyne who was very personable and on the spot when needed. Will definitely visit again ”
“ We had a lovely lunch experience here when we were passing through Woodstock! We had a chance to try a lot of the traditional pub fare including haggis, fish and chips and Toad in the Hole. We also had traditional Irish beer to wash it all down. The service was fast and friendly. We all had a great time and really enjoyed our meal and look forward to coming back to try more of their delicacies! The decor of the restaurant was very charming and really transported you back to Ireland or England to a traditional pub to enjoy a refreshing beer and hearty pub fare. ”
“ Great place the atmosphere is back since Covid. Great people, you can always strike up a good conversation with anyone. A great British feel. GM of the place is super polite and great to talk to. ”
“ Yesterday, I went to eat here. We were looking for a pub in the neighbourhood and The Charles Dickens Pub did not disappoint. Our Server suggested we try the Yorkshire Pudding Bowl with beef, which turned out to be amazing. We also tried the 8oz Haddock with poutine. The gravy matched perfectly with the cheese, the cheese curds were very fresh. Definitely one of the best poutine’s I’ve ever had. The fish was cooked perfectly as well with a nice batter. Thank you again to the chefs and staff, we will be back again. Cheers ”
“ This is what its all about folks! Want to go somewhere with great food?? This is the place! Want to go somewhere with great drinks?? This is the place! Is it family friendly? Absolutely! I shared some wings with my 5 year old daughter. She ate most of them, I had one. After that they were gone. She yelled at me. The staff are total pros too! My new favourite place! ”

“ Been here twice now. We are from out of town and this has become 'our place' in Woodstock. It has a great, relaxed atmosphere and great food. I had a hard day, and I felt very at ease here. Thank you! ”
“ This place is absolute hopping. It was busy, so I got sat at a high top near the bar but even then it was still not super noisy. Walked in to a luscious smell, the kitchen was busy and the restaurant smelled incredible. Staff are so friendly and attentive. Never left waiting for anything. The atmosphere seems very authentic, but I've also not been to a true British pub so... But it still looks warm and inviting. Finally, the food. Fried haggis and a beef bowl. Portions are massive and you'll have lunch the next day. My only complaint was that coffee. It was lukewarm and frankly, not super. ”
